JOHOR BARU: Many food operators here are not planning to adjust the cost of their chicken dishes yet despite the price of poultry having been floated for over a week.
JOHOR BARU: Police are still recovering firearms that were dumped into Sungai Skudai on New Year’s Day.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said only eight weapons had been recovered from about 20 that had been dumped into the river near Taman Tampoi Utama.
He said from the weapons recovered so far, only one was a real firearm – a semi-automatic pistol.
“The others are airsoft rifles. We also recovered some 6,000 bullets, five air rifle pellets and airsoft weapon components, ” he said yesterday. (Airsoft rifles are replicas used in sports.)
