Annie Scherer is a talent worth becoming acquainted with. 
The Voorheesville native, recently nominated for best local performer in the annual Times Union s Best of the Capital Region readers’ poll, just released the single “After Rain” and is slated to issue her first LP on March 26. 
Entitled “Garden Bed,” the album is an expression of Scherer’s skills as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist writer, arranger and producer. For Scherer, conceiving and completing this project was the fulfillment of several personal goals and she’s eager to be present it to listeners.  ....
