A former nursing home in Inverness is set to be converted into an eight-bedroom private house.
Highland councillors voted to approve the plans for the former Fairfield Nursing Home although local residents have voiced concerns it could become a house of multiple occupancy (HMO).
The 32-bedroom property in Fairfield Road was closed in 2018 following a damning report by inspectors.
It is the third time in recent months that a planning application for its future use has come before the council.

Highland councillors will be recommended to approve plans to change the now closed Fairfield Nursing Home into a house at a meeting tomorrow.
It is a third time in recent months that a planning application about the property in Fairfield Road has gone before the council.
