Pet owners who don t carry bags with them in the City of Plymouth could find themselves in a one-on-one conversation with a cop if their dog poops and they don t pick it up.
In a notice sent to residents this week, the City of Plymouth offered a friendly reminder that it s the law for pet owners to clean up after their pets.
The city said residents who observe violations of pet poop and leash laws are encouraged to call 911 immediately so that a community service officer or police officer can respond.
