Pie and laughter ruled the morning on Wednesday, July 19 as the residents and staff at the Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center spent time popping pies into staff members faces.
Pam Osburn, RN, who has been the administrator of Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center for three decades, is retiring on July 21. Osburn was hired as the director of nursing in November 1992, and she took the initiative to become a nursing home administrator and did so within a month.
