DeKALB – The Sycamore Police Department has partnered with State Sen. Dave Syverson and State Rep. Jeff Keicher in an effort to keep unused prescription drugs out of circulation. A prescription drug drop-off will be held 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Sycamore Police Department, 535.
A DeKalb man was charged with home invasion and other crimes after he allegedly forced his way into a woman’s hotel room, where her children were present, on Sunday morning, according to a Sycamore Police news release.
