Former Uttar Pradesh minister Swami Prasad Maurya has announced he will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Kushinagar as a candidate for his Rashtriya Shoshit Samaaj Party. Maurya claims he held talks with INDIA bloc constituents from Uttar Pradesh over seat sharing but received no response. He also announced that S N Chauhan will be his party s candidate from the Deoria Lok Sabha seat. Maurya has been working to strengthen the INDIA bloc and appeal to the people to save the Constitution, democracy, and get rid of the BJP.
