newsroom. i m jim acosta in washington. desperate acts in the wake of hurricane ida. six victims are dead after an evacuation gone incredibly wrong. they were among many that were evacuated to a warehouse with deplorable conditions. nearly one-third of gas stations are without fuel, some people waiting for five hours to fill their tanks just so they can sit in their cars with air-conditioning, the desperation and frustration boiling over on friday. one person was fatally shot in line at a gas station in jefferson parish. in the northeast, at least 50 people died from the storm. half the fatalities are in new jersey where flash floods demolished basements and tore through buildings. on tuesday president biden will visit new york and new jersey to survey the damage. nadia is here for us. nadia, what are people in new orleans telling you? they sound like they re fed up with this. reporter: yeah, jim, everyone is tired because they said we made it through hurricane ida, but it
