KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court was told that 2,435 pieces of jewellery, seven watches and 29 handbags valued at RM80mil, seized in a raid at a premises belonging to Obyu Holdings Sdn Bhd at Pavilion Residences, were from misappropriated 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) funds.
KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is not letting go a claim on a nearly million ringgit diamond bracelet which is also being pursued by a Lebanese jewellery company, the High Court was told.
KUALA LUMPUR: Lebanese jewellery company Global Royalty Trading SAL and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor are staking a claim on a US$220,000 white gold diamond bracelet which is now stored in Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) vaults, the High Court here heard on Wednesday (May 25).

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here was told that the 263 handbags of various brands, 27 pairs of shoes as well as 10 pieces of luxury watches seized by police from the residence of Datuk Seri Najib Razak relating to the misappropriation of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) funds were gifts from friends and dignitaries.
Lawyer Iskandar Shah Ibrahim, who is representing Najib’s wife and daughter, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and Nooryana Najwa, respectively, also said there was no money trail to show that all the assets were from the misappropriation of 1MDB funds.
