Ziehl told the Sun-News that the event had a limited capacity and temperature checks were performed. He said that attendees wore masks, but many did not keep them on the whole time. In photos, very few masks are seen. A complaint filed with the governor’s office alleged potentially hundreds of students from Mayfield High School attended the prom, according to a news release from the district. The event was not sanctioned by Mayfield High School or LCPS and did not happen during school hours, the release stated. The Sun-News has been unable to confirm the location of the prom. ....
