and a tanning room. reporter: she says it was a misunderstanding, that she took her daughter inside the room similar to this one but had anna wait while she alone went into the tanning bed. she says her daughter was never exposed to uv rays. she s my little girl. am i going to bring my little daughter into a # 90-degree bed? i mean, that s not normal. reporter: well, later that day anna s mother and father say she was playing in the back yard. it was 80 degrees. anna got a minor sunburn. at school the next day, they think she proudly told her friends she went tanning with mommy even though she didn t actually get a tan. they think her teachers heard her say that, saw the sunburn, made an assumption, and called the police. she got sun burned. that s it. that s all that happened. reporter: the incident happened over a week ago but we couldn t see any burns on anna or even any indications she even had a sunburn. new jersey law prohibits kids under 14 from going tanning
megan, what can you tell us? reporter: well, barbara, this was an accident that had a huge impact on the morning rush hour today. there were two motorbikes, dirt bikes that were involved in this. they were actually struck by a very large truck right there in the intersection. the road was closed down for hours. the traffic backup went for miles. two dirt bikes lay on their sides in the intersection. just around the corner on eckington place is the heavy truck that hit them. the truck driver stayed on the scene. visibly shaken, he later needed medical attention and was given oxygen by paramedics. guy lambert was on his way to the wpgc studios for the morning show when he drove up on the scene. i just remember his friend that was riding the bicycle with him, alongside him, was just standing over him yelling, somebody help me, please help me, oh, my god, please help me. there was nothing any of us call to. reporter: it happened just as rush hour was getting underway. the d
