The management of Sumadhura Group, in association with Inner Wheel Club Bangalore IT Corridor, has undertaken the task of desilting rainwater harvesting pits in the Whitefield area.
Appreciating the Sumadhura Foundation for providing breakfast to the students, R Bhagya, headmistress of Government Lower Primary School, Chikkanekkundi, said the Sumadhura Foundation had renovated the school building recently, and it has helped increase the number of students from 28 to 42.
In response to the dire situation, Whitefield Rising and the Varthur local community joined forces to initiate the much-needed renovation. Special Commissioner Randeep D facilitated an MoU between Whitefield Rising and the Health and Family Welfare Department, allowing the renovation of the ground floor, while the local Varthur community took charge of the first floor’s renovation.
