Domestic violence charges dismissed against Boston police officer just hours after arrest

Boston Police Officer Alexis Herrera-Brea Jr. was arrested by his colleagues on a domestic violence charge around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday and within two hours, Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins’ office agreed to drop the case, court records show.

Dorchester man charged in slaying of man in Fields Corner; allegedly shot victim twice in head John R. Ellement A Dorchester man who was accused of shooting and killing one brother in 2000 appeared in Dorchester Municipal Court Tuesday where he is now charged with murdering a man by shooting him twice in the head during a daylight attack in Fields Corner last week, authorities said. Nickoyan N. Wallace, 46, was ordered held without bail by Judge Thomas S. Kaplanes after not guilty pleas were entered on his behalf to multiple charges, including murder and a felon in possession of a handgun. According to court records, Wallace was convicted of armed robbery in Rhode Island federal court and released from federal prison in 2015.

MBTA driver Ali Ennab accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting woman on bus in Winthrop after she missed her stop Updated Apr 28, 2021; Prosecutors in an East Boston court on Tuesday described how a woman’s ride on an MBTA bus last week turned into a nightmare when her driver kidnapped and attacked her after she missed her stop, authorities said. The MBTA driver, identified as 45-year-old Ali Ennab, is accused of abducting and sexually assaulting the woman on the evening of April 24. She missed her stop while riding the No. 713 bus from Orient Heights in East Boston and was the only remaining person on the public transit vehicle, according to a statement from Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollin’s office.
