Triumph has taken the wraps off the 2021 Street Scrambler 900.
It gets a special variant too, called the Sandstorm Edition, which will be limited to just 775 units worldwide.
For 2021, the bike sees revisions to the engine to meet Euro-5 norms as well as styling updates.
Triumph has taken the wraps off the 2021 version of its famed off-road bike, the Street Scrambler 900. The Street Scrambler is Triumph’s Street Twin-based offering with improved off-road capabilities. The British bikemaker has made some tweaks to the overall package and also introduced a special variant, called the Sandstorm Edition, for 2021. Let’s dive into the details.
The entire Street Twin-based range gets some subtle tweaks with a new saddle, sidepanel number board, aluminium headlight bracket, heel guards and throttle body finish. And despite meeting Euro5 emissions regulations, the new version sacrifices none of its 64bhp peak power output.
The limited-edition Sandstorm pays tribute to the original desert racing Triumph Scramblers of the 1960s with a special three-tone paintjob. On top of this, it gets a high-level mudguard, aluminium bash plate, rubber knee pads, headlight grille and a tail tidy.
The Sandstorm edition will be available from May and costs £9900 but just 775 units will be made worldwide, so you’d better move fast if you want one.
