Improved services and expansions are ahead for Covenant Village, a faith-based retirement community located off Robinwood Road in Gastonia.  Covenant Village is a gem of a place, for our senior citizens, said board Chairman Tim Efird. And we are looking at what we can do to maintain that standard of excellence and prepare for the future. Efird s thoughts  where echoed by board Vice Chairwoman Nancy Paschall. We are going to be careful and we are going to be conservative, she said. We are going to continue to live up to the standard of excellence and of caring that has been established over the past four decades. But we have to grow. We can t become stagnant.
