There is a growing line of PFAS lawsuits alleging certain consumer goods contain PFAS, products or company’s values were marketed as healthy or environmentally friendly, and that consumers would not have purchased the products if they knew that the products contained PFAS.
CFPB issued interpretive rule affirming states abilities to police credit reporting markets through issuance of their own fair credit report laws. Rule clarifies Fair Credit Reporting Act FCRA does not prevent states from enacting stricter, more protective laws.
