State data Thursday showed 28 new confirmed COVID-19 positives and again no new deaths in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ COVID-19 data site Thursday indicated 14 new cases in Houghton County, five in Delta County, four in Marquette County, three in Chippewa County and one each in Gogebic and Baraga counties.
Using only the state’s figures, the Upper Peninsula as of Thursday has had 16,388 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 383 deaths.
Across the U.P., the MDHHS data site Thursday had Keweenaw County at 115 confirmed cases and 29 probable, and one death and one probable death; Luce County, 132 confirmed cases and 85 probable, one probable death; Schoolcraft County, 229 confirmed cases and 28 probable, four deaths and one probable; Alger County, 277 confirmed, 157 probable and one death, four probable; Mackinac County, 290 confirmed cases and 151 probable, three deaths; Ontonagon County, 359 confirmed, 52 probable
