Construction is about to begin on a $1.4 million project to convert the former Starkville Korean Church on Lafayette Street into two separate business spaces.
In downtown Starkville, on the corner of South Lafayette and East Lampkin St, sits a currently boarded up building that recently housed the Starkville Korean Church.
It took a month for Starkville Korean Church parishioners to scrape the wax off the floor of an old candle factory in 1992 before it could hold worship service in the iconic brick building bearing its name on Lafayette Street.
