A Massillon man will spend up to 29 years in prison after admitting to child rape and other charges.
Teddy L. Castle, 42, appeared via video Thursday at his plea hearing Thursday in Stark County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded guilty two counts of rape, one count of gross sexual imposition and two counts of sexual battery.
The sexual assaults occurred over a period of six years and led to the underage victim becoming pregnant, according to county prosecutors.
A fetal DNA test linked Castle to the crimes. Court records filed in the case by county prosecutors indicate Castle threatened to harm the victim or others if she didn t comply.
