Sphamandla laid to rest
THE body of maskandi artist Sphamandla “Shobalevangeli” Dlamini has finally been sent home in eSwatini.
According to his sister Thembelihle, Mthembu SD Funeral Parlour agreed to release the body.
Shobalevangeli’s memorial service was held on Thursday, 29 April, and his body was taken home on Friday and the funeral took place on Saturday.
Thembelihle said: “We would like to thank Daily Sun for publishing our story, or we wouldn’t have raised the money to take him home.
“The funeral parlour asked us for R18 350 to move the body to eSwatini and for other funeral costs. We only managed to raise R12 500, but the owner allowed us to take the body.”
