Jewish family in Argentina was physically and verbally attacked by assailants.
According to local media, two passengers in another car shouted, “F ing Jews, get out of here. Death to the Jews,” and proceeded to assault the Jewish driver.
While there were only three reported antisemitic physical assaults in Argentina in 2019, the number of overall antisemitic
incidents rose by 107% compared to 2018. Online incidents made up an
overwhelming majority of the incidents.

The Flemish parliament has – more or less – apologised for the inclusion of two Nazi collaborators in a profile of historical figures that were significant in the founding of Flanders as a legislative region. The profiles were part of a special edition of the Belgian edition of
Newsweek to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Flemish parliament.
A section in the edition is dedicated to 14 people considered crucial to the forming of an independent region. They includes well-known Nazi collaborators August Borms and Staf De Clercq. After the Second World War Borms (
pictured above, centre) received the death penalty and was shot by a firing squad.

A special edition of the Belgian edition of
Newsweek commissioned by the Flemish parliament has included two Nazi sympathisers on a list of 14 Flemings who played a significant role in “the rise and formation of Flemish independence, identity and language”.
The government had already gotten criticism for spending €90,000 for a special edition of
Newsweek magazine in honour of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Flemish parliament. The special edition was published by the Belgian version of

Jewish community leaders in Belgium have expressed outrage at the publication of an official brochure that “glorifies” two collaborators with the Nazi occupation during World War II.
A statement on Thursday from the Belgian Coordinating Committee of Jewish Organizations (CCOJB) protested that “in the monthly magazine financed by the Flemish Parliament, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this important institution in our country, two of the most important figures of Nazi collaboration are being honored.”
