Multiple stabbing incidents in South Korea prompt law enforcement to take "ultra-strong" measures. Suspects arrested after attacks on innocent citizens
people in an east london underground tube station at 7:00 local time. you re looking at video from twitter. it appears to show the alleged incident. police subdued the suspect with a stun gun and arrested him. one stabbing victim does have is serious injuries. two others suffered minor injuries, we re told. joining me now is phil black, national correspondent. what do you know? to give an idea how chaotic this was. because these videos have been posted online. you can see the man with the knife. the moment he s confronted by police. we won t show you this. there is a lot of blood on the ground following one of the stabbing incidents there. he has been confronted by police. you can hear them screaming, telling him to drop the knife. and then taser is discharged possibly twice. and then he is detained.
israeli police are saying a group of soldiers on board the train. they noticed someone they thought was suspicious. they screamed out the word terrorist and a police officer opened fire. when the train rolled up to the train station, everyone got off and they searched the train. they were saying it is a false alarm. the police officer who fired the gun is under investigation. no one injured in that incident. it goes to show you how people here are on edge. yesterday, there were two separate stabbing incidents. one near the damascus gate of the old city and one near the central bus station in jerusalem. in both cases, attackers were shot and killed by israeli security forces. three civilians wounded in those attacks. those attacks happened in the face of really heightened security presence.
