The volunteers belong to the St Broseph Foundation, a non-governmental organisation founded by Dushyant Dubey. The foundation strives for women’s empowerment, civic and legal awareness, mental health support, student issues, legal support, career counselling, and support for victims of domestic violence.
Meanwhile, Girish Anjanappa of the Animal Rights Fund said that he appreciates the volunteers for conducting the drive. “I want to thank them for spending a few hours at our animal shelter to learn about the ground reality and what the requirements of our animal shelter are. They did a commendable job,’’ he said.
