Union MoS for Statistics and Programme Implementation visits Pulwama

Pulwama, October 26 (Scoop News)-Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Corporate Affairs and Planning Shri Rao Inderjit Singh today visited Pulwama district under Central Government’s Public Outreach Programme. He reviewed developmental scenario of the district besides reviewing implementation status of Centrally Sponsored Schemes. During his visit, the Minister chaired a meeting of officers at Circuit House and took detailed review of various schemes and programmes of the government. The Minister reviewed implementation and progress recorded under MGNREGA, PMAY, NRLM, NHM, Ayushman Bharat JSY, JSSK PMGSY, JJM, ICDS, PMAY-U and various other schemes. He also took department-wise extensive review of Planning, Education and other departments and sectors. LG inaugurates & lays foundation stone of several infrastructure projects in Pulwama

Pulwama, October 20 (Scoop News)-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several infrastructure projects worth Rs 61 crores, during his visit to Pulwama District. Chairing the District Development Review meeting, the Lt Governor stressed on the development of infrastructure, industries, agriculture, enhancing mobility, saturation of social welfare schemes and improving the ease of living. The Lt Governor directed the district administration to prepare a comprehensive district level plan for self-employment of youth, promotion of tourism and culture. While reviewing the saturation of Kisan Credit Card scheme, the Lt Governor said the landless farmers, solely dependent on livestock, must receive the financial assistance through KCC. He further instructed the Animal, Sheep husbandry & Fisheries department to ensure insurance of all the livestock in the district.
