consistently rainy. next day on into tomorrow morning. so rain jackets back out this morning for sure. you re look outside right now. as far as satellite and radar is concerned, we are seeing some widespread rainfall across parts of the state and look at that snow really coming down in the sierra. we re in for as far as snowfall goes all through the day today into early tomorrow morning. talk in the feet of snowfall piling up there in those upper elevations. well, here in the bay will be able to measure rain inches in some spots. we are seeing those pockets of heavier rainfall that i mentioned yesterday in a few areas. let s take a first look over here at northern napa county. look at this area of heavy rain that s working its way into the northern edge of napa valley at saint. helene are right there. calistoga little bit further southward. you can see just how heavy this rainfall is working its way. generally in a southeasterly direction. and as it does so will impact area
the area we are focussing on is the sand hills. brought record flooding to that area because of that, cumberland county schools and fort bragg schools are closed today. we, of course, have team coverage of the flooding chl cbs north carolina justin is in hornet county. allie is keepg an eye on all these roads. we ll have a look at the morning commute and how that s shaping start with storm team meteorologist alyssa. a very, very busy couple of days for all of us. it certainly was. thankfully, we didn t see see as many showers and storms yesterday, but the flood warnings that were still tracking are because of the heavy rain we received wednesday night into thursday morning. roads are still flooded and in some sayses still impassable. actually received close to 10 inches of rain. same situation in rock fish yesterday morning. so very dangerous situation there yesterday. thankfully, the waters are starting to recede, but that flood warning in effect until later this eveni
