From January to November 2023, China's lottery sales increased by 1.11% year-on-year. The Ministry of Finance explained that the base of the factors pulled by the football World Cup in the same period last year was high. Guangdong, Xinjiang, Beijing, and Hunan increased more, while Jiangsu, Sichuan, Zhejiang, and Jilin decreased more. In November, a total of 11.505 billion yuan of lottery tickets were sold nationwide.
