Covid 19 coronavirus: Splore announces new dates for the three-day music and arts festival 17 Feb, 2021 04:36 AM 3 minutes to read Splore director John Minty announced the date change for Splore to March 26-28, saying the move will ensure attendees can celebrate Splore safely . Photo / File NZ Herald Organisers have postponed the Splore Festival to March 26-28 at the same location, Tāpapakanga Regional Park, Auckland. The decision was in light of Auckland remaining under level 2 Covid restrictions for at least the next week, if not longer. Splore organisers released a statement declaring: The current uncertainty makes it too risky to proceed with pack-in this weekend and to hold Splore Festival on the original date of February 26-28.

What I m Reading: Splore Festival s performance director Emma Herbert Vickers 5 Feb, 2021 11:00 PM 2 minutes to read Emma Herbert Vickers. Photo / Supplied By: Eleanor Black What I m Reading: Emma Herbert Vickers Coming back to reading books is like coming out of a social media coma and being unsure how to digest anything solid again. This was me when my youngest requested I start reading the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland, that he and his fantasy-loving friends are obsessed with. Short chapters, large font and an exciting, in-depth fantasy dragon world was a great way to kickstart my appetite for fiction.
