Protests. we have been watching this for days. for those of you wondering why we are watching greece so closely. with this much violence and protesting going on it s a matter of national interests here. but the reason these folks are in the street is because of the national debt crisis greece is facing. they kept spending and kept spenldsing to the tune of where greece could not handle it. finally in severe debt, greece looked to the european union to bail out. the european union said look, if you want $140 billion in the loan, or waste is they are asking whatever it is they are asking, you will have to tighten your belt. you will have to cut spending and raise taxes. the people took to the streets, saying they don t want that. particularly these union members. greece decided to do it. now we are seeing additional protests after the lawmakers
