DOH distributes special risk allowance to village health workers

LAOAG CITY -The Department of Health (DOH), along with a team from the Ilocos Norte government, is making rounds in the different towns and cities of the province to distribute Special Risk Allowance (SRA) to Barangay Health Workers (BHWs). The group led by Governor Matthew Joseph Manotoc went to Batac City and Badoc town on Thursday to deliver the SRA amounting to PHP1,428 each to 522 target recipients. The group moved to the towns of Pinili, Currimao, and Paoay with 144 beneficiaries. To date, over 2,000 BHWs from the cities of Batac, Laoag, and the towns of Pagudpud, Adams, Dumalneg, Bangui, Burgos, Bacarra, Pasuquin, Vintar, San Nicolas, Pinili, Currimao, and Paoay received their SRA funded by the DOH. DOH, Metro Manila-CHD disburse benefits for healthcare workers

MANILA - The Department of Health-Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD) continues to assist in the disbursement of benefits for healthcare workers and support staff, which include the One Covid-19 Allowance (OCA), Special Risk Allowance (SRA), Meals, Accommodation, and Transportation (MAT) Allowance, and Covid-19 Sickness and Death Compensation. For OCA, PHP 86,507,118 has already been released to 54 health facilities since January 2022. A total of PHP403,492,881 from the recently released OCA has already been allocated to 266 health facilities and is readily available, however, it is pending and for issuance of check due to a lack of submitted documents, especially the signed Memorandum of Agreement and liquidation report from the previously transferred funds to the health facility.
