The Enugu State Fire Service has confirmed the death of a staff member, Mr Chigozie Ugwu, after he battled alongside his colleagues, to put out a raging fire at the Enugu State Motor Spare Parts Market. Ugwu, a mechanical engineer, who led the team of fire officers was said to have collapsed after the team put out the fire that destroyed less than 10 shops along with goods worth millions of naira.
