Joseph Cross, 72, of Hughesville, MD, passed away on December 15, 2020. He was born on August 27, 1948 in La Plata, MD, to the late Stanley L. Cross and Margaret E. Cross. He attended St. Mary s School from 1954 Â 1962, Notre Dame High School from 1963-1964 and graduated from La Plata High School in 1966. He graduated from the College of Southern Maryland in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Cross, son Kevin Cross (Janet) and grandchildren, Emily Cross and Caleb Cross. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann Fraser.
Joe was an avid videographer, hosting several shows on local tv, Southern Maryland Metal and Southern Maryland Country . He also owned and operated a local CD and tape store, Cross s Music Plus in Mechanicsville from 1988 to 1991.
