More than any hurricane that s moved through the area. eight inches of rain is too much for any location. you ll get some pretty crazy flooding. it s amazing that it wasn t widespread. everyone else had a quarter inch. all the rain and gloomy weather has pretty much exited. a lo of clouds are lingering in new england. the sun will poke out and drier air will move in during the day. the big weather story will be a tropical storm heading for a very unusual place, hawaii. the storm does not look as impressive today as it did last night or yesterday. the winds are starting to come down a bit. so the storm is in a weakening state. it will move over the big island of hawaii throughout the day today. that s 8:00 p.m. east coast time it will be exiting. south of honolulu and exiting to south. the other story was the chilly air in the great lakes. that will remain today. not quite as cool, but still 70s. end of july is typically a hot
