Longmont Police were dispatched Monday night to a medical assist in the 300 block of Main Street. A man sustained serious bodily injury. A man was later arrested on suspicion of assault.
Raul Garcia pleaded not guilty on Friday to one count of careless driving resulting in death, open alcoholic beverage and failure to provide proof of insurance, according to online records.
At 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Longmont police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 500 block of Baker Street. A man was arrested on assault charges and a woman and man were contacted.
A driver arrested in June after police said he struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road behind him is now facing upgraded charges after prosecutors said the victim died.
