Bluffton getting MidWest branch

MidWest America Federal Credit Union will continue its northeast Indiana investment with a groundbreaking ceremony today for a $1.6 million Bluffton branch.
The credit union has invested nearly $10 million in four new branches and facility upgrades in the past 18 months, Laurie Black, a marketing and communications vice president, said through an email response.
Michael Kinder & Sons and MidWest America developed a partnership about eight years ago as the credit union was exploring expansion opportunities and its renovation wish list. The Bluffton branch will be one of more than 14 separate projects the two have worked on together, a news release said. Half of those projects have been in the past 12 months.
