Two cops helped save a man who had consumed poison by rushing him to the hospital in the nick of time. The victim was depressed over a loan that he was unable to repay and thought of ending his life.
The
victim Ranganath, 42, a resident of Someshpura Nagar in Wilson Garden, was ferried to the hospital on February 3 by head constable Veerabhadraiah and his senior PSI Umesh from
Upparpet Police Station.
The incident happened near Rajani Bar in Majestic around 10.30 pm on February 3 when a group of bystanders surrounded the victim lying on the side of the road, writhing in pain. Veerabhadraiah and his driver were on duty in their ....
