Mt. Soledad Memorial is proud to be a Commemorative Partner of the USA Vietnam War Commemoration marking the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. We invite you to join us on Saturday, November 11, at 11 a.m. for our annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Always open to the public and free to attend, this year's ceremony will feature performances by Marine Band San Diego and a flyover by the San Diego Salute Formation Team. Our Keynote Speaker is Robert S. Brewer, a decorated Vietnam Veteran and former U.S. Attorney. We'll honor a local military legend, Henry James "Jim" Bedinger. Henry served 26 years in the U.S. Navy. Forced to eject from his F-4 over Laos in November 1969, he was captured by enemy forces and held for 1,223 days as a prisoner of war. Following his release, he went on to serve at the Pentagon before retiring back home in San Diego. Join us to honor all veterans and pay special recognition to the 7,000,000 million Vietnam veterans and the 10,000,000 families
