Investigation, the lack of leaks, unless he wanted to put something out to put pressure on trump. liberals and even me have been frustrated by attorney general garland or jack smith. they have been so by the book, so studiously nonpolitical, really. merrick garland is probably the least rhetorical attorney general in who knows how long. maybe that s okay, if they re really collecting the evidence. what strikes me most, the recent stories suggests he s not just trying to prove what i think is pretty obvious, that trump knowingly took classifies documents, knowingly didn t get them back, obstructed the ability to get them back, but smith wants to find out why he wanted them, what he was doing with them, and how broad and deep the obstruction was. he wants to paint a picture. hasn t done damage to trump before. but maybe this really will be a picture that will shake some of
