the pentagon announced lloyd austin was admitted to the hospital on new year s day for complications from an elective medical procedure. this was anoubsed four days after he was admitted. that does fly in the face over what takes place at the pentagon if top secretaries of the armed forces who have medical issues typically that information gets to the public a lot sooner. does that timeline concern you? did somebody drop the ball there? what do you think? yeah, i think so. i hope secretary austin is okay. going back to the hospital for complications for several days does not sound good. so i hope he s doing much better. i got a note from my former press secretary. he said every time i coughed and sneezed, folks were asking is the secretary okay. so there s a lot of concern about that. particularly since you re in the chain of command.
