Drive Safe Weld County has been putting the car belonging to 22-year-old Zach Mauer on display to showcase the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.
Through Jan. 3, the Colorado Department of Transportation with the Colorado State Patrol and 68 local law enforcement agencies will do their part to keep the roads safe as they continue conducting the New Year's Eve Weekend DUI enforcement period.
