Mike Burkett, better known as Fat Mike of the punk band NOFX, loves his leather sheets. At the mere mention of them during a recent video interview with The Chronicle, he jumped out of his chair to grab one and show it off.
“It’s like a duvet, and it’s lambskin. It’s awesome. I won’t go anywhere without it,” said the NOFX singer and president of Fat Wreck Chords as he draped the blanket over himself from his home in Los Angeles, where he splits his time between living in San Francisco. “I have leather pillowcases too, but I’m like a true fetishist. A couple people have told me that ‘you’re the biggest fetishist I’ve ever met.’ ”
