Local heavy rockers Protohive just dropped a new video for their song "Blue Collar Conundrum" and have announced a new album due out this December. They join Heldtight, Obliviate, Slow Blade and Lumina at 8 p.m. Oct. 28 for a Halloween party at Hero s, 1002 Garrison Ave. in Fort Smith.

The Slow Blade is the project of Dann Gaymer (Guiguisuisui,New Age of Decay, Loooooongish Cat, Nekroma, Shining Dimensions, Daftpop), a British born artist who has spent the past decade living in Asia and touring the world. The Slow Blade sound blends of electric blues harmonica and slide guitar with trip hop beats, creating a one man locomotive to outer space.
