Total has started providing solar power to the Singapore LNG terminal, which is operated by Singapore LNG Corp (SLNG), the French major said on April 29.
The 600-kW photovoltaic system is mounted onto the roofs of the terminal s buildings and is expected to produce 800 MWh/year of power, which is the equivalent of the electricity needs of around 200 households in Singapore, Total said. The system has the potential to avoid 300 metric tons/year of CO ....
