in the country at large now? i what you think they reveal about art in the country at large now?- in the country at large now? i think one of the most in the country at large now? i think one of the most important - one of the most important things that they shortlist is able to show us is that we don t in any way have to think that centres of cultures only one place, say in a capital city. that art can exist all over. i didn t grow up in a home with oil paintings on the walls. but the fact that books are artwork, that art can come to us over the airways, it may be something that a family member made it that we cherish and talk about. i think that those are the kinds of things that we actually are constantly surrounded by culture and things that are hard but somehow we are told or think that art can only be these few things. i love the capacious news and the generosity of the artists who have given us so much with the show. the artists who have given us so much with the show. what a
