The real-life superheroes of health care were celebrated on National Superhero Day at the TCF Center with Ally Bank.
Health care workers at the TCF Center helping distribute COVID-19 vaccines were greeted with prizes from a troupe of caped crusaders working with Ally on Wednesday, receiving $50 Amazon gift cards, Life Savers candy, a purple superhero cape and hand sanitizer.
We re here today because it is National Superhero Day and (health care workers) are working really hard trying to get people vaccinated, trying to get us past this pandemic, said the senior manager of public relations for Ally, Cristi Vazquez. A lot of these folks are actually here 12 hours a day on their feet. so we re out here rewarding them. ....
