Henry County, IA- Two people died and three others were injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday, November 26th, in Henry County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, on Saturday a vehicle carrying five people was traveling westbound on Highway 34 at mile marker 246. The vehicle went off the roadway to the south, crossed eastbound traffic, and entered the south ditch. The vehicle then struck a parked truck, causing the vehicle to roll over onto its side. 50-year-old Sherry Reid of Stockport and 73-year-old Judith Ellis of Ollie died as a result of the crash. Three others suffered injuries in the crash. The driver of the vehicle, 48-year-old Sean Reid of Stockport, and 65-year-old Carol Johnson of Fairfield were transported to the University of Iowa Hospital via air evac, while 48-year-old Tammi Ellis was taken by ambulance to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
