Progress, temperatures 11 to 16 degrees. the frontal system out towards the west is tied in with an area of low pressure but instead of sweeping across our shores, this low is set to retreat southwards, fended off by this big area of high pressure building on the north of the uk, and that will generate a brisk easterly wind. it will feel chilly at the end of the week along some north sea coast, with shelterfurther south and west, relatively warm and mostly dry.
