Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Monday said private sector is contributing a lot to retract the growth of economy despite adverse impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
Bangladesh’s name has been placed among the few countries that’s economy doing well during the pandemic where the private sector keeps an important role.
The minister came up with the remark while addressing as the chief guest at President Industrial Development Award giving ceremony in a city hotel on Monday.
“The government is working to set up 177 industrial clusters across the country for improving product quality and proper utilization of domestic human sources and their skills,” he also said.
