Newmark announced a 4,960 s/f lease for Fireman Hospitality Group’s Brooklyn Delicatessen restaurant at the Paramount Building in Times Square.
The fast-casual concept will be located at 1501 Broadway. The new Brooklyn Delicatessen location marks their second spot in the city and will be on the 43rd Street side of the property. The first location is at 57th Street and 7th Ave.
Newmark’s Vice Chairman Ben Birnbaum, Senior Managing Director Ross Berkowitz, Associate Directors Andrew Taub and Jason Wecker were the sole brokers on the lease transaction. Levin Management Corporation and Rosemark Management serve as owner representatives for the Times Square landmark property, which was built in 1926 as the East Coast headquarters of Paramount Pictures.

Over the past quarter century, a new form of worker organization â worker centers â have arisen among groups of workers, primarily immigrants and African Americans, for whom unionization isnât usually an option, largely due to the limited scope of the laws governing collective bargaining rights.
