Shell Catalysts & Technologies has entered an agreement with Technology Centre Mongstad to test a technology for capturing carbon dioxide. The test will start in January 2023 and will last for five months.
The Phillips 66 Humber Refinery in the UK is on track to become the first refinery in the world to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions using a technology pioneered by Shell Catalysts & Technologies.
Shell Catalysts & Technologies will support the FEED of Calpine’s post-combustion carbon dioxide capture facility at the Deer Park Energy Center in Texas, US.
