Shelburne Cultural Council seeking new members Published: 4/5/2021 3:00:24 PM SHELBURNE The Shelburne Cultural Council is seeking new recruits as a handful of members plan to retire this June, including Chair Connie Clarke, who has served on the board for 12 years. Along with Clarke, four other members will not renew their seats as they also plan to retire or move out of the area. The board is typically made up of 12 members. The Selectboard recently appointed Jennifer Bauman to the Cultural Council for a three-year term. Clarke said Bauman is a Shelburne Falls resident who brings experience working in museums and arts education. Clarke said members are also expanding their community outreach, with the hope of recruiting more members by the time terms end in June.
